Job Summary
Provide direct patient care including medication administration and treatments, complete intake screenings and ongoing health assessments, and respond to medical needs while collaborating with the healthcare team. Maintain accurate documentation, follow nursing protocols, and help create a safe, professional, and respectful care environment for an underserved population. This dedicated day shift role at Stokes County Jail runs 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM on a rotating schedule including every other weekend. Sign-on and retention bonuses are available for qualified candidates.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
- Clinical judgment
- Ability to work independently
