Job Summary
Assess patients using diagnostic tests to establish treatment plans, then direct and implement physical therapy aimed at preventing disability and improving muscle function. Oversee Physical Therapy Assistants, record progress, and modify care plans while communicating changes to the interdisciplinary team. Administer manual and non-manual exercises, conduct home evaluations, and educate clients on condition management and assistive device use. Prepare comprehensive clinical documentation including discharge summaries and participate in case conferences. This role involves onsite work at our outpatient office in Sanford, Florida, with a salary of $100,000–$110,000.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- Current and valid Physical Therapy license in good standing for the state of Florida
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in a similar outpatient or acute care setting
- Current CPR certification
- Valid driver's license
- Automobile insurance
- Strong communication skills, capable of engaging and motivating clients, families, and team members
- Proficiency in managing diverse patient populations and providing exceptional care focused on patient outcomes
