Job Summary
Decorate cakes and baked goods for display and customer requests, tracing and copying designs onto cakes using templates or free-hand sketches, blending icing colors, selecting decorating materials, and operating decorating tools. Maintain food-safety quality and a clean, sanitary work environment while delivering friendly, service-oriented customer interactions. Plan production in line with seasons, store promotions, and community events; stay current with cake-decorating trends and techniques; contribute to sales through suggestive selling. Requires ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays; must be 18+ (and 21+ for driving per policy). Based in Tyler, TX with potential additional store locations (El Dorado, AR) for in-person decorating duties.
Required Qualifications
- High school Diploma or GED
- Minimum of 18 years of age
- Food Handler certification required
- Decorators certification desirable (optional)
Additional Requirements
- Must be 18+ to operate or clean motorized equipment
- Must be 21+ to drive for Company business per policy
