Job Summary
The Deckhand assists the Captain/Senior Captain with ferry operations, greets passengers, collects payments, verifies reservations, and maintains cleanliness of the vessel and dock. Responsibilities include sweeping, washing decks, performing routine cleaning, adhering to safety standards, observing passenger behaviors for safety, and reporting any Internal Control or State Regulation violations. Candidates should have general maintenance skills and the ability to communicate effectively while following safety regulations.
