Deck Supervisor

Own the shift from start to finish by preparing the deck, leading pre-shift and post-shift meetings, and keeping lessons running on time and on brand. Coach Swim Instructors, Deck Assistants, and Lifeguards through direct observation and honest, specific feedback to drive real improvement, while conducting periodic evaluations and implementing corrective action training. Interact with parents and guardians at the end of every lesson to discuss student progress and act as a GSS ambassador ensuring member satisfaction. Complete daily Deck Supervisor logs, monitor student attendance, coordinate facility cleanliness tasks, and arrange coverage for absent team members. Step in as a substitute Swim Instructor or Lifeguard when needed. This shift leadership role requires evening and weekend availability and exposes you to heat, humidity, and chlorine.
