Job Summary
Own the shift from start to finish by preparing the deck, leading pre-shift and post-shift meetings, and keeping lessons running on time and on brand. Coach Swim Instructors, Deck Assistants, and Lifeguards through direct observation and honest, specific feedback that drives real improvement. Interact with parents and guardians at the end of every lesson to discuss student progress and act as a GSS ambassador who ensures member satisfaction. Complete daily Deck Supervisor logs, monitor student attendance, and coordinate facility cleanliness tasks to meet standards. Help arrange coverage for absent team members and step in as a substitute Swim Instructor or Lifeguard when needed. Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective action through training. Available for evening and weekend shifts with regular exposure to heat, humidity, and chlorine.
Required Qualifications
- Current Lifeguard certification
- CPR certification
- First Aid certification
- AED certification
- Certifications must remain active
- Must be available for evening shifts
- Must be available for weekend shifts
