Job Summary
Oversee the shift from start to finish by preparing the deck, leading pre- and post-shift meetings, and ensuring lessons run on time and on brand. Coach Swim Instructors, Deck Assistants, and Lifeguards through direct observation and honest feedback, while conducting periodic evaluations to drive improvement. Interact with parents to discuss student progress and act as a GSS ambassador for member satisfaction. Complete daily logs, monitor attendance, coordinate facility cleanliness, and arrange coverage for absent team members. Step in as a substitute Swim Instructor or Lifeguard when needed. Requires current Lifeguard, CPR, First Aid, and AED certifications; availability for evening and weekend shifts is mandatory.
