Job Summary
Seasonal Deck Electrician responsible for setting up, operating, and shutting down practical fixtures for outdoor Broadway Season productions at Tuacahn Amphitheatre; duties include rigging, channel and dimmer checks, coordinating with lighting team, assisting during tech rehearsals, and maintaining OSHA safety. The role involves collaborating with the lighting crew to complete assigned projects, reporting to the Lighting Crew Lead, working outdoors and overnight in a desert climate, and contributing to pre- and post-show duties as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to collaborate with the lighting team to efficiently complete assigned projects
- Ability to maintain a professional work environment that reports to the Lighting Crew Lead
- Ability to work outside and overnight in a desert climate overnight
- Ability to listen, take instruction, and to participate in a team to complete assigned tasks
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Works well in a fast paced and high pressure environment
- Ability to lift 40+ lbs
- Must be able to walk and stand for long periods of time
- Must be comfortable with heights
- FOY experience a bonus
- Experience with atmospherics a bonus (fluid checks, minor troubleshooting)
