Job Summary
Deck Assembly Associate builds the boat exterior according to Tiara Yachts work instructions in a safe, organized manufacturing area. Responsibilities include assembling boat units with a trainer, using drill/drivers, woodworking tools, small pneumatic hand tools, caulk guns, and shop tools (miter saw, band saw, router, sanders); understanding units of measure; communicating product/process/material constraints to the team lead; performing physical tasks including standing, kneeling, lifting up to 40 lbs, bending, and using hands; basic computer knowledge and math; assisting with training to develop job knowledge; maintaining daily labor tracking records; and performing related duties as assigned. Education preferred is a high school graduate or equivalent. The role offers first shift hours (6:00 a.m.–2:30 p.m.), no mandatory weekends, on-the-job training, comprehensive benefits (medical/dental/vision), PTO, holidays, tuition reimbursement, profit-sharing, 401(k) match, and HSA contributions. Promotes a safe and clean work environment and requires PPE use.
Required Qualifications
- High School graduate or equivalent preferred
- Experience with drill/drivers, woodworking tools, small pneumatic hand tools, caulk guns, and shop tools (miter saw, band saw, router, sanders) is a plus
- Must be familiar with units of measure
- Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs
- Ability to work overtime as requested
- Willingness to work on a team or individually
- Must follow PPE policies and safety guidelines
