Job Summary
Administrative Assistant for the Decatur Career Academy supports the CTAE department and Student Center by handling daily clerical tasks, scheduling, communications, and data management. Responsibilities include answering calls and emails, preparing newsletters and materials for meetings/events, maintaining filing systems, generating reports on enrollment and program effectiveness, and assisting with budget tracking and grants. Requires high school diploma or equivalent (bachelor's/associate preferred), proficiency in Google Workspace and CANVA, strong organization and communication skills, and confidentiality. Typical work environment is school office hours at Decatur High School.
Required Qualifications

- Experience with administrative support in an educational setting is desirable
