Job Summary
Install decals, signage, and ICC numbers onto trucks, trailers, and fleet vehicles by operating large-format printers, plotters, and cutting machines. Prepare surfaces through cleaning, measuring, and masking, then apply vinyl wraps ensuring proper alignment, smooth finishes, and bubble-free results. Trim graphics per specifications, assist with design adjustments, and inspect completed work for quality standards. Maintain tools and work areas while adhering to safety procedures for heights and large surfaces. Collaborate with the team to meet production schedules and deadlines. Requires a valid driver's license, own vehicle, high school diploma, and ability to work full-time with overtime.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a valid driver's license and own vehicle
- Must have a High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to lift and/or move equipment such as scaffolding, power washing hose
- Physically fit; comfortable lifting materials and working on ladders or platforms
- Ability to read measurements and follow layout specifications
- Good manual dexterity and ability to work with hands for extended periods
- Ability to work full time with overtime
Desired Qualifications
- Mechanical background/aptitude is preferred
- Previous experience in vinyl installation, sign making, or vehicle wrapping preferred
- Decal installation experience (or related experience - body work tech, window tinting, detailing, or willing to learn) is an asset
- Skills involving attention to detail and inspection are preferred
- Strong problem-solving ability
- Team player with good communication skills
- Time management and ability to meet tight deadlines
- Commitment to quality workmanship
