Job Summary
Receive and verify sub-parts for work orders, then prepare and clean components using water, compressed air, and specialized hand tools to remove burrs and sharp edges. Assemble products correctly with wrenches and torque tools, applying sealants and lubricants as needed while inputting build data into the manufacturing software system. Test assemblies at in-process and final checkpoints per documented procedures, identify units by engraving serial numbers, and promote ISO quality standards. Organize tools and equipment daily to maintain a safe, clean work environment while meeting production metrics.
Required Qualifications
- Prior experience in deburring, finishing, or a similar role in a CNC machine shop
- Experience within aerospace, automotive, or industrial gas turbine manufacturing
- A meticulous approach with a focus on quality, precision, and finishing
- Strong hand-eye coordination
- Experience using a variety of deburring tools and equipment
- Familiarity with CNC-machined components
- A basic understanding of machining processes
- Ability to collaborate with colleagues
- A verifiable high school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- A minimum of 1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to make good, sound, and timely decisions
- Ability to exercise proper judgment and discretion
- Ability to understand, track, organize, and successfully complete multiple tasks and projects
- Ability to effectively communicate and interact diplomatically with employees, customers, and associates
- Ability to handle and process information in a timely and confidential manner
- Ability to sustain high energy and enthusiasm with the appropriate level of urgency as needed
- Ability to read, interpret, and understand all drawings, routers, and process specifications
- Ability to learn and accurately use company computer software programs as related to role
- Proficient writing and speaking skills
- Ability to communicate professionally, objectively, and effectively
- Sufficient ability to read, write, and speak in English
- Sufficient visual acuity (corrected)
- Sufficient manual dexterity
- Ability to uphold and comply with the company Mission, Safety and Quality Policies
- Ability to receive and understand training by various methods
- Must be able to sit/stand continuously on a daily basis
- Must be able to twist, turn, bend, and reach freely without pain or discomfort
- Must have sufficient dexterity in both hands and arms
- Must be able to lift twenty pounds unassisted
- Must be able to work Monday-Thursday 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM
