Job Summary
Perform ti-etch, deburring, filing, polishing, and cleaning of Before Heat treat landing gear components to drawing specifications. Occasionally support robotic deburring processes and operate overhead cranes to move large parts. Support quality initiatives by performing operator self-verification (OSV) and participate actively in LEAN and Continuous Improvement initiatives. Support rework and surface finishing parts as required. Work the Weekend Night Shift (Friday-Sunday, 6:00 pm - 6:00 am) onsite at RTX in Oakville, ON.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma
- 1-3 years of current deburring experience
- Demonstrated ability to read micrometers / verniers
- Prior deburr experience
- Eligible to work in Canada
- Meet all requirements under ITAR
- Meet all requirements under CCGP
- Weekend Nights (Friday-Sunday) 6:00 pm - 6:00 am
Desired Qualifications
- Demonstrated ability to read and follow instructions from production order cards and manufacturing process sheets
- Previous experience
- Deburring Titanium
- Demonstrated ability to use Matrix
- Demonstrated ability to read & interpret latest MPS/APS
