Job Summary
Perform deburring, filing, polishing, and cleaning of before heat treat landing gear components to drawing specifications. Operate overhead cranes to move large parts and support quality initiatives through operator self-verification. Participate actively in LEAN and continuous improvement efforts while assisting with rework and surface finishing parts as required. Work weekend days (Friday–Sunday) from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm onsite at Collins Aerospace in Oakville, Ontario.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma
- 1-3 years of current deburring experience
- Demonstrated ability to read micrometers / verniers
- Prior deburr experience
- Eligible to work in Canada
- Meet all requirements under ITAR
- Meet all requirements under CCGP
- Weekend Days (Friday-Sunday) 6:00 am - 6:00 pm
Desired Qualifications
- Demonstrated ability to work to exact drawing specifications (Dimensional & Finish)
- Demonstrated ability to read and follow instructions from production order cards and manufacturing process sheets
- Demonstrated ability to use Matrix and read & interpret latest MPS/APS
