Job Summary
Deburr and hand finish parts according to sketches, blueprints, and supervisor instructions. Communicate verbally to follow departmental guidelines and read basic blueprint notes. Utilize microblasters, microscopes, and handheld air and electric deburring tools for specific materials. Lift up to 35 lbs and sit at the workstation for extended periods while complying with personal protective equipment requirements. Work 40+ hours per week in a fast-paced, high-demand environment.
Required Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship or Valid Permanent Resident status
- Ability to read and understand basic blueprint notes and deburr sketches
- Ability to communicate and follow verbal instructions
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs
- Ability to sit at work station for extended periods of time
- Willingness to comply with personal protective equipment requirements (eye and hearing protection, etc)
- Ability to work 40+ hours per week in a fast paced, high-demand, quality environment
- Sufficient verbal and written communication skills
- Good problem solving skills
- Must be willing to comply with personal protective equipment requirements (eye and hearing protection, etc)
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience using a micro blaster
- The use of microscopes
- Hand held air and electric deburring tools
- Knowledge and use of deburring abrasives, and burrs for specific materials
- Minimum of 2 years experience
- Cleaning of parts as necessary
