Job Summary
Perform advanced board-level troubleshooting and component-level debug on complex multilayer server and data center PCBAs, including CPU, GPU, FPGA, ASIC, memory, and power subsystems. Diagnose high-speed digital, power distribution, and mixed-signal circuits using schematics, PCB layout files, POST codes, and diagnostic utilities while utilizing advanced test equipment like oscilloscopes and logic analyzers. Execute precision debug of fine-pitch BGAs using controlled thermal profiles and X-ray verification, then conduct root cause failure analysis to identify systemic trends and implement corrective actions. Collaborate with engineering to resolve functionality gaps, update debug methodologies, and refine repair processes. Develop detailed debug guides and diagnostic flowcharts to standardize troubleshooting approaches, mentor junior technicians, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by tracking yield performance and failure mode trends. Ensure strict adherence to ESD, safety, and quality compliance standards.
