Job Summary
Debug Technician responsible for debugging complex electronic assemblies to component level using equipment such as oscilloscopes, meters, and computer-controlled test equipment, with emphasis on Flying Probe and ICT failure debugging. Will test complex boards/assemblies, participate in FP programming, set up new programs, and work with Test/Manufacturing Engineers to support and improve manufacturing operations. Duties include working from blueprints/ECNs, determining acceptance/rejection/rework, assisting in correcting quality issues, supporting FP/TCF test activities for customers (notably Infinera/Rocket), and communicating with internal/external customers to resolve issues and provide feedback to production. Preferred familiarity with SMT, Xray, structural tests, optical networks, and 5+ years CM experience in test processes; education includes college with 5+ years experience or 2-year EE degree.
Required Qualifications
- Testing all aspects of the product/system like function/component, system, performance, regression and service.
- Work with development team to identify and capture test cases, ensure version management
- Setting up of test environments, designing test plans, developing test cases/scenarios/usage cases, and executing these cases.
- Providing feedback on usability and serviceability, trace the result to quality risk and report it to concerned people.
- Debug and troubleshooting system to PCBA component levels.
- Able to review and analysis 3-strike cases.
- Communicate with different functional departments to conduct an investigation on RMA cases for and write a FA report based on customer requirement
- Process, schedule, and follow up on outstanding RMA cases to completion
