Job Summary
Troubleshoots and repairs complex mechanical and electrical assemblies at the component level, handling units with workmanship or technical errors. Operates electronic test equipment to conduct special tests and analyzes software, test, protocol, and script logs to diagnose failures. Verifies causes for failures, determines repair or retest needs, and provides technical guidance to other personnel. Collaborates with engineers on functionality issues and procedure updates while assisting with equipment installation, debug, and validation. Follows all safety guidelines and reports unsafe conditions to the supervisor. This D Shift role reports to the Quality Engineer in Salt Lake City, UT, with an application deadline of September 23, 2026.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to write reports, business correspondences and procedures
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from supervisor, managers, and support groups
- Ability to speak and understand English
- Has awareness of new technologies/techniques
- Demonstrates detailed functional knowledge
- Demonstrates advanced technical skills
