Job Summary
Analyze loan documents, investment committee memoranda, and deal summaries to understand structure, funds flow, and servicing requirements. Assist in preparing credit recommendations for lender approvals, gather market data, and maintain rent rolls. Build and perform LTV, DY, and DSCR analyses while reviewing draw requests for construction and capital expenditures. Monitor ongoing portfolio updates including loan extensions, modifications, and new closings. Prepare asset-level reports in Excel, conducting cash flow and variance analyses. Participate in a team project and capstone final project. This 12-week summer internship runs June 1 to August 14 with a hybrid schedule of three office days per week.
Required Qualifications
- Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in finance, real estate, or related major
- Demonstrable interest in commercial real estate
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Highly developed organizational and project/time-management skills
- Excellent communication, presentation, and business writing skills under pressure
- A strong commitment to integrity and professionalism
- A demonstrable ability to work both independently and effectively with team members in diverse groups and regions
- Solid work ethic, self-motivation level, and strong attention to detail
- Hybrid work arrangement requiring 3 days per week in the office
