Job Summary
Dean of Students for Washington County Public Schools based in Abingdon, VA. Provides educational leadership for students and staff, assists in administration of the school program, and oversees work and behavior of personnel and students. Requires leadership qualities and the ability to work with students, staff, administrators, and parents. Eligible candidates must be graduates of an accredited college/university and either enrolled in a Postgraduate Education Leadership program or hold a Professional License with an endorsement as a Principal or Administration/Supervision K-12. This is a 210-day contracted, full-time position for the 2025-2026 school year with salary commensurate with qualifications and experience; includes benefits such as pension, health/dental, sick and personal days.
