Job Summary
Dean of Students in an Elementary School will assist the building principal in designing and implementing a strong school culture of achievement, with proper discipline structures, character development, and mentorship to strengthen instruction. The role emphasizes leadership in student behavior support, school-wide PBIS practices, and effective communication to support instructional impact. Requires a valid K-8 or 1-8 teaching license and applicable Ohio administrative certification consideration, along with substantial classroom teaching experience; preferred PBIS experience and strong written/verbal communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Teaching License K-8 or 1-8
- Ohio administrative certification or licensure preferred
- Five (5) years successful classroom teaching experience
- Work with PBIS school models preferred
- Good written and verbal communication skills
