Job Summary
Dean of Students provides discipline and behavioral support within a school, counsels students and parents, coordinates with staff and external agencies, maintains disciplinary records, recommends programs, mentors students, administers the In-School Suspension Program, and facilitates meetings to address behavioral problems and attendance while collaborating with administrators, teachers, and support staff to ensure a safe, compliant school environment.
Required Qualifications
- State Certification as required for position
- Motor Vehicle Operator's License or ability to provide own transportation
- Bachelor's and Masters Degree
- Successful experience working with children at risk
