Job Summary
Lead school culture and behavior expectations as Dean of Students for OVCA. Collaborate with the Principal and leadership team to foster a positive, structured, achievement-oriented, and joyful school culture. Coach a portfolio of teachers, support instructional practice related to relationships and classroom management, ensure excellent attendance and engagement, and maintain proactive communication with families regarding student performance and concerns. Operate within a predominantly virtual/remote work environment, leveraging technology to support online learning and compliance with local/state/federal requirements, including special education. This is a full-time remote role requiring typically 40+ hours per week, with possible travel up to 25%.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years of experience in education
- Oklahoma Academic Administrator Certification
- Must reside in Oklahoma
- Ability to travel 25% of the time
- Background check (IVP fingerprint clearance)
