Job Summary
Coordinate programs and activities designed to meet the academic needs of all students while implementing behavior intervention plans based on individual child and family assessments. Promote family involvement through partnerships between the academy, parents, and organizations by providing information, training, and support to address academic issues impacting at-risk, minority, or hard-to-reach families. Collect and document reports for student records to facilitate ongoing academic and behavioral intervention strategies. Serve with guardians, faculty, and student groups to advance educational objectives and perform record-keeping functions as directed. Seek professional development opportunities to enhance leadership skills within this innovative charter school environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in related field
- Exemplary work habits verified by reference check
- Understanding of PBIS, behavior intervention methods
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree or additional coursework, professional development relevant to strategies utilized in behavior intervention
- Successful experience as a teacher
- Previous experience in a school leadership role
- Knowledge of and skills working with students from all backgrounds
- Excellent verbal and written communication using proper grammar and vocabulary
- Strong interpersonal skills
