Job Summary
Dean of Student Life provides strategic leadership and operational oversight for student wellness, school culture, restorative practices, student behavior systems, and extracurricular programming; serves as primary liaison with families on behavior and discipline; oversees scheduling, campus supervision, athletics, and student events; supervises the Director of Health, Wellness & Counseling and the Director of Technology; participates in faculty planning, HR processes, and cross-dean collaboration to support student formation and faith development within a Catholic school community.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree preferred (Education, Educational Leadership, School Counseling, or related field)
- Valid teaching or administrative credential preferred
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a school setting
- Experience in student behavior management and discipline
- Strong conflict resolution, communication, and relationship-building skills
- Experience overseeing extracurricular programs, athletics, or student activities
- Ability to collaborate as part of a Dean team with two peer Deans
- Commitment to faith formation and Catholic school mission
