Job Summary
Dean of Discipline & Student Culture responsible for assisting the principal to provide cultural and administrative leadership for student safety, social-emotional learning, school discipline, and overall school effectiveness; duties include leading instructional practices, observing and coaching teachers, planning professional learning, enforcing student conduct policies, coordinating student support services, engaging with parents/stakeholders, and supporting school-wide improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university
- Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in PK-12 setting
- Master’s Degree (preferred)
- Danielson certification within 3 months of the first day in the assignment
- Experience in instructional leadership and supervision
- Ability to lead and coordinate professional learning
- Ability to communicate with stakeholders
- Knowledge of student conduct and safety policies
- Ability to monitor and improve school culture and discipline
- Proven ability to recruit and retain teachers and staff
