Job Summary
Dean of Culture (12-month role) to lead data-driven instructional coaching and professional development across SIHP schools, driving an inclusive, mission-aligned school culture and student achievement. Responsibilities include cultivating a vibrant culture, coordinating PBIS/MTSS, behavioral interventions, attendance initiatives, and ensuring regulatory compliance; coaching instructional staff, strengthening home-school partnerships, and supporting family engagement. Required: Bachelor's degree; strong track record in classroom instruction; ability to lead culture systems and SEL integration; NYS Teacher Certification preferred; 3+ years classroom teaching experience preferred. This role reports to the Head of School at Staten Island Hebrew Public and is based in Staten Island, NY.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- Masters Degree preferred
- NYS Teacher Certification preferred
- Three years full-time classroom teaching experience strongly preferred
- A team player with strong work ethic and relationship-building skills
