Job Summary
Drive the undergraduate and future graduate recruitment cycles from inquiry to matriculation, managing strategies for first-year transfers, special populations, and yield optimization. Partner with the Vice President of Enrollment Management to develop multi-year enrollment strategies aligned with institutional goals, retention initiatives, and revenue expectations. Direct the admission team, providing supervision and coaching on counselor performance while leveraging Slate, analytics tools, and performance dashboards to monitor progress toward targets. Interpret technical and statistical data to support strategic planning, institutional reporting, and forecasting, ensuring adherence to admission policies and deadlines. Act as the chief admission officer and spokesperson at recruitment events and campus committees.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum of five years of progressive experience in a college/university admissions office
- Proven supervisory experience developing and managing a high-performing, cohesive team
- Demonstrated success in leading recruitment strategy and achieving enrollment goals in a competitive higher education environment
- Strong interpersonal, leadership, and change management skills
- Strong acumen with technology, report writing, and slide deck presentations
- Capacity to interpret and present data clearly to stakeholders and use analytics to drive decision-making
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
- Valid driver's license
- Willingness to travel regionally and nationally
