Job Summary
Dean of the Cornerstone Theological Seminary graduate programs and School of Ministry undergraduate programs will drive strategy and implementation for CTS and the School of Ministry, guiding spiritual, intellectual, and academic leadership while expanding programs on campus and online. The Dean will oversee curriculum and instruction for majors/minors/certificates, collaborate with university departments and the VP for Academics to support online and Grand Rapids campus programming, address student and faculty matters, and cultivate partnerships with donors and external partners in alignment with Cornerstone’s Christ-centered mission and confessional commitments.
Required Qualifications
- Doctorate or nearing completion of a doctoral degree in a field represented in the school(s)
- A minimum of 5–7 years of ministry or online learning provider leadership
- A personal relationship with Jesus Christ and an active Christian commitment
- Ability to affirm and sign the university’s doctrinal statement (The Cornerstone Confession)
- Knowledge of and alignment with Cornerstone University core commitments (CU Confession, CU CWV, AV, and BCC)
- Strong organizational skills; ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Capacity to lead as chief spiritual, intellectual/academic, and administrative leader of the school
- Proven ability to collaborate with Enrollment and Marketing to grow enrollment
- Experience in strategic planning, assessment, and innovation for graduate and undergraduate programs
- Budget management and fundraising/ donor-relations capabilities
- Willingness to work outside normal hours to meet deadlines
