Job Summary
As Dean, support the Principal in fostering an educational atmosphere that promotes student learning, achievement, discipline, safety, and technology enhancements; implement School Board policies to maintain proper student discipline; supervise and collaborate with staff, parents, students, and the public; provide counseling to students and parents on behavioral issues; coordinate lunchroom, bus supervision, and after-school discipline actions; lead in evaluating and recommending educational technology improvements and ensuring policy alignment; engage in professional development to maintain current technology use and effective classroom management. Responsibilities include tours of campus, working with security and safety staff, coordinating resource use, reporting and documenting disciplinary actions, and maintaining timely information in line with OCPS evaluation procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s Degree from an accredited college or university
- Certification in Educational Leadership, School Principal or Administration and Supervision by the Florida State Department of Education and five (5) years of teaching experience
