Job Summary
Dean at GOAL High School responsible for administrative duties to assist the Principal/Assistant Principal, assuming duties in their absence, and providing on-site leadership to staff and students. Key responsibilities include overseeing student discipline and relationships with students, staff, and parents; coordinating instructional leadership and professional development; monitoring behavioral policies and attendance; analyzing data to support academic improvement; mentoring new teachers; coordinating support services to ensure graduation progress; ensuring FERPA compliance and privacy; and traveling regionally as required. The role requires strong leadership, collaboration, data-driven planning, and a commitment to a safe, productive learning environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in education, Management, or a similar field required
- Master’s degree preferred
- Two years of experience as a secondary teacher, secondary counselor, or equivalent required
- Two years of experience working online and/or with at-risk youth preferred
- Three years of progressively responsible leadership experience working in a school preferred
- Must reside in Colorado
- Must Possess a Driver's License
- Valid Colorado Principal's License preferred
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, time-management, verbal, and written communication skills
- Willingness to travel regionally and transport students as required
- Must work all scheduled calendar days in Colorado
