Job Summary
Dean will be the chief executive of the College of Allied Health Sciences, leading educational, research, and clinical programs; implement university and college policies; oversee support services for students, faculty, and staff; recruit outstanding faculty and staff; manage budget and resources; advance strategic goals and represent the College within the health sciences and university environment; provide vision for research, patient care, and academic programs; liaise with affiliated health systems and campus leadership.
Required Qualifications
- earned doctoral degree or terminal degree in a related discipline
- relevant academic administrative experience
- record of scholarly achievement commensurate with appointment at the rank of Professor with tenure at the time of hire
- ten or more years of experience in related field (senior-level faculty) with at least five years at Associate Professor or comparable
