Job Summary
A&P Certified Aircraft Inspector responsible for updating maintenance tracking programs, reviewing work packages for accuracy, and inspecting completed work to ensure airworthiness and compliance with FAA specifications. Responsibilities include maintaining and overseeing maintenance records, ensuring proper tagging of rejected or unserviceable parts, executing FAA forms 8010-4 and 337, performing preliminary to final inspections, and adhering to FAA and company procedures. Requires an A&P mechanic certificate, at least 5 years of commercial/regional aircraft experience, familiarity with applicable FAR parts, computer-literacy, and the ability to pass drug, background, and security checks, with eligibility to work in the United States. Location: Indianapolis, IN (on-site).
Required Qualifications
- Hold a Mechanic's Certificate with Airframe and Powerplant ratings (A&P)
- Verifiable aircraft maintenance employment within last 2 years
- Minimum of 5 years commercial or regional aircraft experience
- Familiar with FAR parts 53, 65, 91, 121, 135, and 145
- Computer literate with the ability to learn new software applications
- Must pass all conducted drug/alcohol screening, background and security checks and prove eligibility for employment in the United States
- Valid driver's license
