Job Summary
Conduct financial due diligence for mergers and acquisitions by analyzing financial statements to assess business health and performance. Assist in preparing financial models to evaluate investment opportunities, perform business valuations, and gather information for financial forecasting. Contribute to earnings quality analysis, cost accounting tasks, and industry trend analysis while collaborating on merger accounting and deal management. Engage in financial advising activities to support client engagements and strategic initiatives. This summer 2027 internship is for candidates currently in their third or fourth year of study, with a preference for Accounting or Finance backgrounds and up to 80% travel.
Required Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or have completed a Bachelor's degree
- Client service intern positions are entry-level roles intended for job seekers who are in their third year of a four-year degree program or fourth year of a five-year program at the time of application
- Winter internships typically occur during the spring semester preceding the student's final year of school
- Summer internships typically take place during the summer preceding the student's final year of school
- Up to 80% travel
Desired Qualifications
- Preference for one of the following fields of study: Accounting, Accounting & Finance, Accounting & Technology, Economics and Finance, Finance
- Preference for a 3.3 overall GPA
- Demonstrating knowledge in financial statement analysis and industry trend analysis
- Participating in financial due diligence and merger accounting projects
- Supporting deal management and acquisitions with analytical skills
- Engaging in financial advising and business valuations activities
