Job Summary
Oversee the parts sales process from start to finish, communicate with staff and customers professionally, read and interpret the parts catalog for accurate part identification, provide price quotes, verify parts against shop estimates, ensure pricing aligns with estimates, pull/fill orders from stock with weekly bin checks, notify when parts are out-of-stock, locate emergency sources for parts, ensure internal requests for parts are billed on service repair orders, and process payments or credit authorization. Requires strong reading of safety/maintenance documents, proficiency with calculations for discounts/pricing, and exceptional interpersonal and time-management skills. Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- prior auto parts sales experience
- Strong interpersonal and time management skills
- Ability to read/interpret safety and maintenance documents
- Ability to calculate figures including discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, %, area, circumference, and volume
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
