Dealership Parts Counter Associate responsibilities include assisting in the parts sales process from start to finish, reading and understanding the parts catalog to identify specific parts, providing price quotes, reviewing body shop estimates to ensure pricing aligns with estimates, maintaining stock through weekly bin checks, locating out-of-stock parts and submitting emergency orders, notifying the site manager of needed parts, and ensuring that internal requests for parts are billed on service repair orders. The role requires strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact with staff and customers, the ability to read and interpret safety and maintenance documents, and the ability to calculate figures including discounts and percentages. A High School Diploma or equivalent and a valid driver9s license are required (prior auto parts sales experience is preferred).
