Job Summary
Provide support to all departments to increase revenue, control expenses, and ensure associate satisfaction. Maintain orderly, current, and accurate accounting records while implementing controls to guarantee compliance with company policies. Recruit, supervise, and develop dealership office personnel, and audit balance sheets and schedules regularly to address potential liabilities. Assist operations with forecasting and budgeting, ensuring timely completion of financial statements, monthly work papers, and daily DOCs. Prepare reconciliation of all balance sheet accounts and purify reconciling items every month. Review every dealership schedule monthly for necessary corrections and resolve any issues promptly.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years Experience with Public Dealer
- Accounting degree or equivalent experience
- 5 years' experience managing the accounting function and leading the accounting staff of an automotive dealership
- Outstanding written, verbal and presentation-based communication skills
- Excellent analytical, forecasting and budgeting skills
- Experience with dealership management computer systems (ADP preferred)
- Very strong computer skills, particularly with Excel and the Microsoft office suite
- Ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
