Job Summary
Receive repair orders from the dispatcher and perform vehicle maintenance and diagnostics in accordance with factory standards. Diagnose malfunctions, communicate with the parts department, and document all work performed while ensuring customer vehicles remain clean. Road-test vehicles when required, supervise apprentice technicians, and notify the service advisor immediately if repairs cannot be completed within promised times. Keep the shop area neat, account for all tools, and adhere to safety policies and hazardous waste regulations. Maintain ASE certification or manufacturing training and attend factory-sponsored classes to stay current on technical bulletins.
Required Qualifications
- 2-3 years of automotive technician experience
- Able to work independently
- ASE or manufacturing training
- High school diploma or the equivalent
- Valid driver's license and a good driving record
- Manual dexterity & Good Judgment
- All applicants must be authorized to work in the USA
- All applicants must be able to demonstrate ability to pass pre-employment testing to include background checks, MVR, drug test, and valid driver license
- High CSI is a must
Desired Qualifications
- Preferred experience in performing warranty and customer pay work
- Ford Brand Experience (Preferred)
