Job Summary
Group Accounting Manager responsible for financial reporting for multiple dealerships within the Dealership Accounting group. Owns financial reporting including income statements, balance sheets, and other financial analysis; oversees monthly closing, annual budgets, accruals & deferrals, and journal entries; conducts bank and floor plan reconciliations and analysis of balance sheet and income statement accounts; analyzes balance sheet items (Prepaid, Inventory, Liabilities, Fixed Assets) and reconciles balances with other dealerships; develops new processes, policies, and procedures to professionalize accounting practices; trains local office managers in accounting processes; travel occasionally; requires GAAP knowledge and strong Excel skills; compensation includes a pay range of $49,600.00-$69,400.00 plus benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree in Accounting
- 5+ years experience in public or industry accounting
- Intermediate knowledge of MS Excel
- Excellent Communications skills (Both written and oral)
- Knowledge of GAAP
- Willingness to travel on occasion
