Job Summary
Dealer Trainee is trained to operate Blackjack. Essential duties include greeting guests, dealing according to house rules, exchanging currency for chips, ensuring wagers are placed before cards are dealt, announcing winning numbers, computing and paying odds, counting and verifying chips, and maintaining asset protection. The role requires effective communication with staff, adherence to department and gaming regulations, staying alert in a potentially loud and smoke-filled environment, and participating in required meetings and training. Full-time opportunities follow successful completion of dealer trainee school, with benefits such as health plan, PTO, 401(k), and weekly pay.
Required Qualifications
- Requires high school diploma or GED
- Requires successful completion of the dealer training course
- Must be able to obtain a gaming license in accordance with Sac & Fox Gaming Commission regulations
Additional Requirements
- This position is PROHIBITED from playing all casino games while on duty, except as authorized for employee tournaments
