Job Summary
Part-time on-call Dealer Trade Driver transports vehicles between dealership locations, loading, securing, and unloading them onto trailers or delivery trucks. Responsibilities include maintaining accurate records of transported vehicles (vehicle information, mileage, condition reports), communicating with dealership staff to coordinate pickups and deliveries, performing pre- and post-trip inspections, adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations, handling delays or breakdowns to ensure on-time deliveries, and delivering professional, courteous service to customers and dealership personnel.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license
- Clean driving record
- Ability to lift, load, and unload vehicles
- Strong work ethic
- Team-oriented and adaptable
- Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Previous experience in vehicle transport, delivery driving, or related field is preferred
- Ability to safely load and secure vehicles onto transport equipment
- Strong understanding of traffic laws and safety regulations
