Job Summary
Consumer Credit Analyst II (Dealer Services Ops) analyzes and evaluates simple to complex secured and unsecured consumer loan applications, approves, modifies, or denies per credit union guidelines, documents decision reasoning, and maintains relationships with members and originators. Requires evaluating documentation for accuracy, applying fraud detection techniques, reviewing credit reports, interpreting lending ratios, and staying current with applicable laws (bank secrecy, AML, Fair Lending, Truth in Lending). Responsibilities include training originators, updating lending materials, and supporting lending campaigns, with ability to travel as needed and to work non-standard hours. Located in Sacramento, CA with remote work option; strong analytical, interpersonal, and decision-making skills are essential.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Associates degree preferred
- 4-7 years in consumer lending or 5+ years in loan processing
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Knowledge of credit analysis and reporting
- Ability to analyze paystubs and tax returns
- Familiarity with underwriting procedures and lending policies
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Remote work eligible (US)
