Job Summary
As a Dealer Loan Originator, you will originate and fund loans while delivering exceptional customer service, generating leads, assessing borrower financials (credit history, income, DTI), presenting loan options, guiding applicants through the application and approval process, coordinating with Underwriters and Loan Processors to ensure timely processing, and meeting sales/funding targets. You will cultivate client relationships, provide guidance on credit improvement, and address inquiries post-closing, all while maintaining integrity and regulatory compliance. Proficiency in Encompass, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently and with a team are required. Knowledge of the Manufactured Home Industry and experience in loan origination are preferred.
Required Qualifications
- MLO license through the NMLS
- Experience in loan origination (preferably 2+ years)
- Familiarity with Encompass software is advantageous
- Knowledge of the Manufactured Home Industry is a desirable asset
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Capable of multitasking and maintaining attention to detail
