Dealer Account Manager

Job Summary
Dealer Account Manager located on the road serving Westlake Financial’s dealer partners across local markets. Drive training and prospecting to help dealers sell more cars and trucks through Westlake financing programs. Manage dealer accounts, develop new sources and contacts, train dealers on current programs, prepare presentations and proposals, follow up on leads, and participate in marketing events. Travel within the local market to educate and consult with independent and franchise dealerships, maintain sales materials, stay current on financial product knowledge, and collaborate with teams to ensure quality service delivery. Requires automotive, finance, and sales experience, strong communication and presentation skills, and a valid driver’s license; full-time benefits and potential for six-figure earnings.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in Automotive, Finance and Sales (required)
- 1-2 year’s previous experience in a Sales role with a proven track record of success
- College degree (preferred or equivalent work experience)
- Presentation skills
- Strong Interpersonal and communication skills
- Knowledge of advertising and sales promotion techniques
- Strong computer skills and adaptability to new technology
- Goal oriented with a desire for improvement and advancement
- Able to communicate and work amicably with diverse teams
- Knowledge/Experience with the use of DealerTrack, Routeone, or CUDL (beneficial)
- Previous Outside Sales Experience, (preferred)
- Significant local travel to current and potential clients. This requires the possession of a valid state driver's license
