Job Summary
Consult on and register customer sales opportunities with vendor partners, managing the registration lifecycle from initial setup to deal closure. Proactively follow up and escalate deal registration issues with vendors and sales management, while communicating deal statuses and expectations to sales personnel. Coordinate with technical and vendor resources to influence deal registration, and maintain knowledge through vendor trainings to share insights with Account Managers. Provide Deal Registration specific training to new and established Account Managers, and communicate program changes to sales teams. This role reports to the VP Sales Operations and supports the team's goal of connecting people with technology solutions.
Required Qualifications
- Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.
- Basic computer knowledge with ability to operate keyboard for data entry
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite with ability to create a document or simple spreadsheet
- Working knowledge of Sales systems; including CRM and ERP systems
- Customer and Personal Service - Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction
- Communicating with Persons Outside Organization - Communicating with people outside the organization, representing the organization to customers, vendors, and other external sources. This information can be exchanged in person, in writing, or by telephone or e-mail
- Establishing and Maintaining Interpersonal Relationships - Developing constructive and cooperative working relationships with others, and maintaining them over time
- Getting Information - Observing, receiving, and otherwise obtaining information from all relevant sources
- Communicating with Supervisors, Peers, or Subordinates - Providing information to supervisors, co-workers, and subordinates by telephone, in written form, e-mail, or in person
- Cooperation with others, displaying a pleasant, good-natured, and cooperative demeanor
- Attention to detail with the ability to focus on specific facts or elements in order to complete work tasks thoroughly
- Initiative to take on additional responsibilities and challenges
