Job Summary
Conduct rigorous reviews, negotiations, and scenario analysis iterations on business cases to assess risk versus return tradeoffs for Japan division deals. Perform benchmark analysis on assumptions and reality-check ROIs and NPVs for contracts entered with customers. Provide guidance to the legal department on deal structures and assist in finalizing legal documentation. Communicate corporate policies, establish review processes for financial control and compliance, and build financial acumen within business teams. Monitor performance of strategic deals, facilitate new pricing initiatives, and champion reporting to ensure data integrity and deadline adherence. Lead advisory roles in strategic and financial projects to build profitable and protected deals while driving market compliance and value creation.
Required Qualifications
- At least 6 years of relevant experience in business development partnering and financial modelling or Financial Performance & Analysis (FP&A)
- Ability to lead, motivate and influence others in a global, matrix organization structure
- Ability to work independently, collaborative, and great teamwork
- Outstanding interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills both in Japanese and English
- Strong employee relations, influencing, and management partnering skills
- Working knowledge of US GAAP and local GAAP
