Job Summary
Manage a queue of deal desk requests by applying established pricing frameworks and collaborating cross-functionally with Sales, Revenue Operations, and Finance to bring deals to resolution. Review and approve requests for non-standard pricing, multiple reseller RFPs requiring custom pricing strategies, and reseller credit requests or terms proposed in agreements. Administer commercial pricing in DealHub CPQ to ensure quoting workflows and approval processes reflect current strategy, while acting as the subject matter expert for complex pricing cases. Participate in meetings with Sales, Resellers, and customers to finalize pricing agreements and amendments, ensuring deal structures are operationally executable and compliant with commercial policies. Engage in team development through coaching and feedback to support Geotab's global strategic initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- 5-8 years experience in a deal desk, commercial pricing, or similar role in a B2B SaaS or technology environment
- High level of critical and logical thinking, analysis and/or reasoning to identify underlying principles, reasons, or facts
- Strong commercial acumen with ability to assess pricing risk and make well-judged decisions
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with CPQ or deal management platforms
- Strong interpersonal relationship building and negotiation skills
- Strong project management skills; able to identify needs, develop effective solutions and manage projects through to completion
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strategic mindset, has a keen sense of priorities, along with the ability to pivot as the landscape changes
- A strong team-player with the ability to engage with all levels of the organization
- Technical competence using Google Suite for business (Sheets, Docs, Slides) and Excel
- Entrepreneurial mindset and comfortable in a flat organization
- Geotab verifies candidates' eligibility to work in the United States through E-Verify
- The individual's ability to pass a background check
- Reliable internet connection with at least 50mb DL/10mb UL
