Deal Desk Manager

Job Summary
Develop deal pricing, commercial proposals, and P&Ls for new cloud opportunities and renewals while guiding sales through the quote-to-close process. Prepare contractual documentation, lead negotiations with customers and internal stakeholders, and provide deal insights to sales leadership. Track regional pipeline activity, contract metrics, and deal performance to drive process improvements across the sales cycle. Act as a subject matter expert on cloud commercial models, pricing, and contracting. This role partners closely with Sales, Legal, Finance, Product, and Professional Services teams to structure profitable, compliant, and customer-focused cloud transactions within OpenText's global information management platform.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in commercial contracting, pricing and negotiation for software and cloud services
- Strong financial acumen, including P&L analysis and multi-year deal modelling
- Ability to collaborate across Sales, Legal, Finance, Product, Security and Operations teams
- Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills
- Strong contract drafting and negotiation capabilities
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment
- Fluent English (written and verbal)
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Law, or a related field
- Advanced degree or professional qualification (Finance, Accounting, Legal) preferred
- Experience in cloud services, SaaS, or managed hosting environments
- Familiarity with Salesforce and OpenText products is advantageous
