Job Summary
Empower drivers by providing clear delivery routes and instructions, ensuring each journey is perfectly planned for smooth and timely deliveries. Conduct thorough driver de-briefs, setting ambitious performance targets that motivate continuous improvement and uphold high operational standards. Manage all documentation with precision, champion Health & Safety excellence, and deliver real-time communication by liaising closely with drivers during shifts. Serve as the primary point of contact for drivers, handling de-briefs and queries while ensuring feedback drives key performance goals. This role requires comprehensive knowledge of transport legislation, previous experience in logistics, and proficiency in Word and Excel. The position involves a 5-day shift from 14:00 to 23:00 in Reading with a salary of £12.71 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- Comprehensive knowledge of transport legislation and logistics operations
- Previous experience within a transport or logistics environment
- Must have the legal right to work in the UK
