Job Summary
Senior Power BI Developer to drive enterprise-wide report rationalization and transformation for an insurance customer. Lead modernization of legacy reporting into a self-service BI ecosystem using Power BI, with Snowflake + dbt-based data platform (Raw/Silver/Gold). Responsibilities include leading assessment and rationalization of existing reports, designing target-state architecture, building interactive dashboards and paginated reports, implementing complex DAX calculations and semantic models, optimizing performance, designing data models from Snowflake, enabling governed datasets for self-service analytics, and enforcing governance standards. Requires 6–10+ years in BI/Analytics with Power BI expertise, Snowflake, dbt experience, data modeling knowledge, and insurance-domain familiarity.

- Strong Power BI expertise
- Experience with Snowflake data platform and dbt
- DAX, Power Query (M)
- Paginated Reports (Power BI Report Builder / SSRS)
- Data modeling (star/schema)
- Insurance domain experience preferred
